A favorite of my father-in-law’s, I knew almost immediately upon dating my wife that I would need to perfect a Guacamole recipe. Something that was simple, easy and lovable enough to be served at least twice a week. This one does the trick – from a taco topping to chips and dip to avocado toast. If he approves it, well… it’s really good.

2 avocados

1/2 a red onion minced

1/4 jalapeño minced (optional)

1 tablespoon cilantro chopped fine

Lime juice, salt and pepper to taste

  1. Seed and mash avocados to desired texture
  2. Add in all other ingredients and mix. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired

Note: jalapeño is an optional add on base on if you like spicy foods.
